My GLORIA is for sale. I've got a bigger bike now, but I've loved riding her and have done 24,000 km on her in 20 months.

She's an ideal learner bike, a big looking bike for her engine size, gets from 350 to 450 km on a tank, and can run at 120 km/hr on the open road. She's reliable (has had her engine oil changed every 3500 km and serviced every 10,000 km) and is comfortable on long rides.

As a commuter bike she's ideal. Her size and colour make her highly visible. Her bars aren't too wide for filtering, and she's very manouverable because of her light weight (168 kg dry) and low centre of gravity.

Downside. I came off once at a roundabout, so there is a small scrape on the front guard and small patches of chrome off both the headlight surround and speedo casing.

Oxford heated grips make winter riding enjoyable
