My favourite ride of the year. Reasonably easy going follow the leader with a variety of terrains and views to take in.

One part I always find amusing is people struggling over the riverstones onto the beach... Instead of turning right over the stones go straight along the bottom of the hill paralell to the beach and you're straight onto the sand.

that way down is way more fun,

Finally got round to editing some footage from Waikaretu. Still getting used to the camera and editing, a little too much visor in all my clips...

To the side in the red / black? I was surprisedthat little puddle created such a jam. I edited the traffic jam out but my mate and I were bar to bar having a chat and some chump jams his way through between us, hope he got a better finishing position... Chump.

Yeah, red and black.

I was stuck behind the jam and the black beast doesnt take standing around too well. It was overheating, so I pulled off to the side and waited for it to clear a bit.

I'd only just kicked it into action again.
