A number of questions have rolled into my inbox about the screen and dash on my DRZ400 (http://www.adventureguide.co.nz/articles/12/142/drz400-adv-build.php).

Here's a link to the screen and dash build article, hope this helps : Building an adventure bike screen (http://www.adventureguide.co.nz/articles/12/146/drz400-adventure-screen.php)

Thanks for the kind comments folks, I'll be doing a trial production run to see if they can be produced at a realistic price. The materials cost is not the issue, it is the labour component which runs into hours meaning the plugs and moulds have to be modified/recast to streamline the process and simplify the bracing and dash mounting. The design stage is finished so I'll be rebuilding the plugs and moulds and do the trial run once I am back from holiday mid March

The initial design will fit the DRZ250, DRZ400 and DR650 given that they share a common headlight shroud, will keep you posted

Cheers :niceone:

New plugs coming along well, should be onto the first stage of mould casting this weekend. They are being modified to include air scoops for increased ventilation (for those running HID lights) plus an optional insert that houses high output LED lights

Anything happening with these or is it not economical to bother with?
