Fucking oath they are, they were living in the stone age and running around killing and eating one another before whites came here and created a certain amount of law and order. The Maoris wouldn't have the unemployment benefit or any form of social welfare if it wasn't for the Europeans. They wouldn't have KFC, cars, mobile phones, TVs, modern healthcare, alcohol, or any modern luxuries that we brought with us. Every Maori I've ever met is happy to use modern technology.

Secondly, name 1 black majority country that is civilized with a high standard of living. I bet you can't. The whole of Africa is fucked, as is the Middle East. Most of Asia is poor and uncivilized with a few exceptions such as Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and a few others.

So yes, in general whites are the more civilized and developed race. You can't even begin to deny that fact with indisputable evidence. Just try, I'm going to sit back and watch as you attempt and prove me wrong. And yes, I know that there are good, honest Maoris out there and there are bad, thieving, child molesting whites as well.

It's amazing that there were any Maori left eh. With the nature of global trade and the fact that Maori used to trade with the other islands in the region, I see no reason why an all Maori island wouldn't have had any of those things you've outlined.

As for the rest, whitey is more technologically advanced than blacky and blacky is more social than whitey. And as blacky also has technology then blacky is more civilised than whitey.

too many racists in the country for that to be allowed... they'd rather sell the land overseas. The govt proves the point well.

....Just applied for a building permit for a new house.

It was going to be 100 ft tall and 400 ft wide with 9 turrets at various heights and windows all over the place and a loud outside
entertainment sound system.

It would have parking for 200 cars and I was going to paint it bright purple with pink trim.

The City Council told me to f*ck off.

So I sent in the application again, but this time I called it a Mosque.

Work starts on Monday…

I tried to build a Mosque once, designs were inconspicuous, the only way you could tell from the road was a tiny sign on the door.
The rest of the building looked like an old warehouse.
There was no windows, and we had to keep the sound level quieter than a library.

Still the council turned it down.
They didn't like it so close to a hole in the ground near by, even though it was explained to them it was their president who dug it.

There will always be a backlash when initiatives are rushed - so basically the pendulum is close to an apex and will start swinging back the other way. Globalisation was embraced and peddled to the masses a bit too enthusiastically, and borders got thrown wide open with huge influx of foreign cultures [some that weren't even considered carefully for their ability to add to the quality of the host society], followed by clash of cultures and values, friction between immigrants and locals, and eventually locals will push back.

Funny that, history repeating itself... Pre-WWII, Europe was in deep recession, minorities were blamed for economic/social/cultural woes, and one A. Hitler rose to power on the back of frustration and resentment against everything, from the Government/politicians to banks to other nations [the Jews and Communists were just scapegoats].

Trouble now is whether the minorities are really minorities [or are the locals the minority now?], otherwise it will be a bit difficult to keep the peace...

My most favouritist quote ever... Albert Einstein and his definition of Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Tis a shame that we look at each other in that way, you are X in a population of Y, therefore you are a minority as a part of Z and should know your place, else Y will remind you

It's really our own fault, 'cos when times were good [i.e. money was flowing], we focused on chasing the money and material wealth - we ignored with eyes open all these issues. Suddenly when times are tough, we're trying to survive and we realise what's happened and start reacting. It was a time of milk and honey just when Labour was in power [they didn't create it, even though they'd like to believe it], we were too busy chasing the dollar while the liberals started allowing refugees and all kinds of immigrants in who wouldn't contribute to NZ society.

I'm all for enriching the fabric of the New Zealand cultural landscape [fresh skilled workforce and wider variety of international cuisines available is always a good thing, for instance] but unwise, over-generous and poorly thought-out policies have ended up introducing more negatives than positives. And it all happened in front of us and we never paid attention...

I'm wholly with you there, a big +1... but, as I keep getting told, that's the way things are and there's no other way to do things. Oddly enough that's either utter bullshit, complete lies, sheer ignorance and politics, or a combination of all. Praps someone will do something about it some day, praps they won't. It took me 38 years to finally realise it  and as you say, that was with, what I thought, my eyes wide open. I guess the lucky thing is that these "crashes" happen once, maybe twice/thrice in a generation, the first time being ignored by youth, the second time being an eyebrow raiser and if there's a third time, we've likely lost our marbles or have resigned ourselves to accepting that this is the only way it can be, because it always has been. A sort of roll over and play dead. The fuckers running the show have time on their side, things will be forgotten, consigned to the history books with the nod of lessons learned (see Einstein's theory of insanity).

As was mentioned in the Somali thread there are those that arrive here and do fuck all and there are those who arrive here and make a go of it. The funny thing is is that if you gave them a simple job and paid them a relatively decent amount of money for it, they would do that job quite happily imho. Same as anything these days... it's all about the money, still ... and always will?
