Most of you know Cam Jones , and are aware of the challenges he is facing after his accident at round 2 of the National Champs.
The Jones faimily are under alot of pressure, Pete and Felicity are at the hospital every day for most of the day, this is taking a toll both emotionally and financially.
I have organised a fundraiser to help the Jones's over the coming weeks and months, for it to work we need your help.
Underground Coffee Company have agreed to supply coffee, as much as we need to help Cam in the biggest and toughest race of his life.
Label X is printing the packaging , and thanks to SportzFotoz.co.nz for providing action photos of Cam for the packaging
For $10 you get a 200gram pack of Underground Coffee beans, Espresso or Filter Coffee fresh from the Sydenham Roastery, there are a couple of details to work through, shipping is best if we can send bulk lots , for $7 i can send a full carton (aprox 50 packs of coffee) anywhere in the country.
Cam is an awesome Buckateer, an National Champion and all round good guy, he and his family could do with a little help right now.
The rest is up to you , thanks for your support.

Great work Mike. I have been following Cam's progress since day one. He is a great guy and its really sad to hear what he and his family are facing. My thoughts are with him and his family. Its hard to think of anything say really. Just get well cam.
How about at the North Island round we make a little announcement and take the orders there. Then we should have bulk order from each region. Sound like a plan. I drink a lot of coffee so will be down for a few bags.

Let me know when you've got details finalised, definitely keen to help out (and drink coffee).
Aucklanders: if anyone's keen on getting some coffee, we can work out who wants what & get a box up :)

I think 50 is too much too, if we can let the dust settle for a few days we will be able to get an idea how we can consolidate freight, 2 or 3 packs will fit in a courier bag, and that would be a big help too !

what I was thinking is getting a box and then we can divide it as to who wants what, so long as we can get a mix. save you hassles sending up little packages, but that would be for bucket guys. If you could get them up in time,f maybe see if we can sell a box at the nationals, or get the word out anyway.

Hi Thanks Michelle, if you could have a ring around, find out what kind of coffee and the qty it will make it easier to sort out, Underground is across the road from where I work so it is easy to organise and courier comes every day at 3pm, you can send an order every day !!
Hey everyone thanks for helping

Have some boxes on hand at all the race rounds (HD, Taupo, BRM, Paeroa whatever is happening down South) and you'll sell 'em by the barrow load to spectators and racers alike once they know what it's for. And/or market it through the various clubs? I'm definitely keen to get my hands on some "Cam Grinder" coffee.

Where were you when we were trying to think what to put on the label, Cam Grinder is brilliant.

Such a bad thing to happen to an awesome guy. I have raced buckets and 125's with Cam since around 2005 or so, he whipped my arse more times than I can remember. My thoughts are with him and his family, here's hoping for a full recovery!
Happy to help out where I can.

Moves are afoot at the moment for an official trust fund to be set up, and have been in the pipeline for a couple of weeks. There are a number of considerations in forming one first and foremost the families agreement to such a thing and then how it is managed, all need to be treated with respect etc
Keep the thoughts an ideas coming and watch this and other spaces over the next few days for info meanwhile get on with placing Coffee orders, that's if you're a coffee head

Looks great, will ask around tomorrow at Tokoroa for Auckland bucketeers and see if we can't get the first box happening soon. Otherwise if it's too hard, I'm going to have to just order ours. (Dutchee)

I will buy a box if you like & people can get it from me. Anything not sold will help to stop my withdrawls

Henk and I will take 10 bags of beans, I'd also like a bag of plunger grind for work (will need to buy me a plunger, but can do that lol). I can pick up from your work. Will see who's keen on the weekend and see if we can organise a decent pre-sold amount beforehand. Will email/PM you after the weekend and see where we go from there :)

Boxes or bags? Boxes you'll have to ask Mr Yow Ling.
Bags - espresso, plunger or beans?
Hope no one stole my coffee today, but they should've been too scared to (me without coffee isn't a good thing lol).
Oh, I bought a cool plunger for camping as well, as it's stainless and while we'll no doubt dent it, it shouldn't break :)

Cool, was meaning to ask you how it was going. Do you want me to do a poster? (I haven't yet, but can do).
Righto, put us down for 10 bags of beans, 4 bags of plunger (if you've still got that, otherwise make it 14 bags of beans and I'll grind some for work).
Hmmm, we hate coffee. (umm, yeah, we went through 3 bags of beans in a week, and I'm using 1 bag a fortnight of plunger at work lol, just as well I don't work fulltime).
Let me know about the poster, and if yes, can do that this weekend and drop by drop off/pick up next week.

Will get onto it tomorrow and drop it round next week. I'll grab extra bags to take down to Te Puke. Yow-Ling's emailed me a picture, so hopefully will make something nice to hang up.
My body is a temple as well, I'm just filling it up with crap, as there's some room left in it, and when it gives up, it won't be any use for anything.
