im on the market for a bigger bike now. I really want a ZX-7R but may look at other bikes if the price is right. Trying to stay below $6000 and sorta 1994+. I know its at a stretch but i have had a few mint bikes at that price that i missed out on for not snapping them up quick enough.

well atm my zxr is gonna be getting its steering head bearings done, then its gonna be a new rear shock and possibly a new clutch. When the fairings are all repaired and the mounting brackets are straight im hoping to get a decent $3500 for it.

test rode a GSXR750 (1994) today... got up to 160 and i thought i was doing 120 :Punk: however that particular bike was running a bit rough and theres another one the same but dif kms with 18k less on the clock for same price so im gonna check that out. Probly gonna be goin to tauranga on the weekend to check out a ZX-7R.

you gotta love the little 250's, i just wish it would go faster than 180 on the straights!!! hence why i want a bigger bike. The most aparent difference so far is getting the bigger bikes through corners takes a decent bit more effort... you actually have to ride it!

No pics of it atm magua but if you wanna take a look i'll fire it up for you at uni sometime... its gonna be in at mt eden on monday getting new steering head bearings tho... maybe tuesday before physics outside the rec centre (where i park).

yeah putt is rather boring. Bikes gonna be in at Mt Eden tomorrow to get done (they didnt do it today). Im seriously thinking about holding on to it and making it a minter... braided lines everywhere, get every nut and bolt anodised. engine taken out, cleaned and painted, possibly polished frame... and finishing off the paint job etc... will be like $4000 after that tho.

you should call this chap. He'll want a little more than 6k but the bike has every thing and in excellent nick.
Ohlins shock, gold valve fork internals, full muzzy system, dynojet kit, k& n filter, huggar, tinted screen, undertail, mini indicators etc...
his name is andrew 027 2494159

cheers for the info, i looked at a minter that was going for $8500, would have bought it but i've decided i want to keep the 250 for a little bit longer when i have the new bike... just for the 'transitional' period so i dont get homesick.
