Sorry guys, bike is now SOLD!!




I'm selling my beloved 250 as I've stepped up to a Hornet 900, so time for another learner to to enjoy her as much as I did.


WOF til April and Rego'd until May.


Tyres are virtually brand new. Front is a BT 016 and Rear is a BT 023.

Regular oil changes, valves clearances all checked and are as they should be. New steering head bearings and other work done around 9 months ago (will list work done once I get the receipt).

Has had a small drop, as with all learner bikes, which has left a scrape on the left side of the tank. I have tried to photo this as best I can with my crappy phone camera. Price reflects this.



This is an excellent learners bike and will treat you well.

I"ll try and take some better pics ASAP... it's currently parked at work in a secure carpark because I can't ride 2 bikes! Haven't had a chance to take some photos in the sun.



Oh, I'm looking for some decent bookshelf or floorstanding speakers, so if any potential buyer would like a part trade I may be interest :D

Yep! 016 feels good on the wee hornet. Nice confident feeling that it's going to hold to the road, that's what ya want!

OK.. took her for a ride and it's weird because there's a lack of power. I'm pretty certain it's not me just being used to a 900 now... thinking it my be spark plugs or air filter. Still goes fine, rides well and sounds good (as in all cylinders are going)... just feels like there should be more there when I twist the throttle.

Anyway, it's just sitting there not being ridden, and she's been awesome to me. I don't want to sort out the power delivery problem so someone can get a bargain for $2500.

OK... well, I found the problem... it was actually me being a complete nub.

A fellow Kiwibiker came round and took her for a ride and then informed me that he thought the power delivery was fine and peppy like it should be.

So... I decided to take her for another blat up the motorway, and realised that I have been an idiot :) I got it up to 150 before backing off (safely!)

Idles fine when warm aswell, although I think the plugs could still do with being changed.


So yeah, I'm just a retard and used to riding bigger bikes now :)

But, the good news for you guys is that I am open to any offer over $2500.... so BUY IT :)

get it up on trademe man the only things that sell on this site is shoes for tyre kicking with! its worth paying the $70 for an auction, i started the last one i had thats similar to yours at 2995 and got 3700 for it they are a awesome little bike
