"A true classic in good condision custom paint job is a head turner. this bike runs well and would make a great promo machine"
A true classic? Come one!! A head turner?? Tui. A great promo machine?? If you agree...go buy the fucking thing and promote yourself or whatever you want to promote.
If some poor cunt that knows no better purchased the bike after that crock of shit...I feel sorry for him. Some people (obviously maybe you included) believe the shit he's spouting about the poor old wreck.

The 400's were piles of shit compared to the 650. Starter clutch issues etc. Not a good bike from the get go.

By the way...nice red rep from a real computer warrior! I gotta laugh. " You ride and sell Harleys you CPU"...You may want to know I also sell Suzuki's and have for 25 odd years.
Yeah I do ride HD's as well as Suzuki's though. Ridden both of them faster and harder than you'd ever dare to too. But you're no CPU eh!!??
Maybe you meant CPW?

The 400's weren't very nice at all. As mentioned...a lot of (serious and very expensive) sarter clutch issues, and the 400 is chain drive which is nowhere near as nice on the singles as the belt the 650 has. I think TLR is gonna ride in and save the day though. He obviously believes the total drivel coming out of the sellers mouth/keyboard.

As you are new and most likely unable to read any rep comments you are given, you have now received a "Red" with the comment "Feel free to sign up and test your luck".
It's a good thing the bike magazine website's purpose isn't to host a forum, or we'd be boned.
I might suggest you also try Custom Bikes NZ, Scoundrels Custom Bikes, and Greasemonkeys for websites with forums.
Stay cool.

Red rep is a valid way to express disapproval on the forum. I'm not sure why people get so testy about receiving it.
I do think that this thread is unnecessary. So some guy thinks his old bike is cool and says so in an ad to sell it. Good on him. He's not claiming that it'll do 10 second quarter miles or anything.
Too much hatin' going on in here, yous fullas need to save that shit up for worthier causes.

I disagree. negative rep is predominantly used by faggots who fancy themselves as qualified to judge others but whom are too witless to express themselves by confronting and discussing the offending comment within the discussion thread in which they read the comment which they take exception to. Kinda gutless IMO and greatly erodes any weight in their comment.
For Bone riders info. I will copy and paste any message I see fit.

In a sense you are right & there is much talk of this Hating stuff.
On the other hand when you ask for it Its hilarious. Clearly the seller is living in his own fantasy. You will note that I did refrain from replying to the TM add saying it was Bray under his own logon apologizing for causing any problem with his wife, he just saw the picture & assumed. That would have been a bit funny:innocent:.
But deluded or what. I mean if a thing is old it doesn't mean its a classic. An XS650 I will begrudgingly admit is a classic, it doesn't make it cool but is worthy of classic status.
Katana 1100 or thou; Classic
Z1 Classic. Both pretty cool.
LS400; Austin Princess. Just old & the sooner they expire the better.
But to paint flames on an Austin is hilarious, surely taking the mick.
Poor little bike.
I'm sure it could make someone out there happy.
Yes, most likely someone called Bray.
