got a call from one of my boys at 2am he was in the back of a police car, he was walking back to his flat with a girl he knew when a carload of maoris stopped and 2 of them jumped out and one pushed him as the other punched him from behind, luckily for him there were some Uni security guys nearby who saw it and the coppers were soon on to them and they arrested the 2 gutless cunts, of course they will get a severe bustickting and live to bash another day. He got a cut lip a couple of lose teeth plus was in shock, but he will be ok.

Fucking gutless scum  You got to wonder if they were on P or something though, not that is is an excuse of course. Hope your boy heals up good.
I got punched in the face once when I was pissed and could barely stand, wondered why I had a saw jaw the next morning and my flattie had an interesting story for me. Just don't see what could motivate somebody to think picking on the apparently helpless is a good time. Fingers crossed they pick on somebody who looks little and helpless, but is a ninja in diguise or something, kind of like these beautiful examples.

Sorry to hear about his misfortune but odds are it will happen again and it ain't no fun or good being scared of it. Best thing anyone can do to avoid being victims is 2 or 3 years of martial arts.

This kind of shit happens far too often. It's the same cunts who go around bashing other people time and time again, yet the courts are too fucking soft to dish out a proper sentence.
They get their free court appointed lawyer who says "Please go easy on my client, his mother was an alcoholic and his dad beat him when he was a child so he's really the victim in all this".
If people are willing to act like a complete animal by bashing innocent people, then those offenders should be treated like an animal and locked up like they deserve.

Make sure he gets the teeth seen to and an ACC form filled out. This will help in the future if there is a problem with these teeth, and ongoing treatment will be covered.

Same kind of thing happened to me about 25 years ago when I was living in Chch. Out one evening, walking along Colombo St between Armagh and Kilmore. I heard a car pull up behind me, didn't pay any attention as there was plenty of traffic around, next minute some little fuck smacks me across the back of the head with an empty beer bottle, luckily it's fairly solid back there, I sorta staggered a bit and looked round to see what the fuck was up, he's jumping back the car where his mates were waiting and they took off.....utterly fucking random, just good ol' Canterbury white trash out on the piss.
I carried on to the next pub.

Okay, Ill say it. Mate, its O week - $5 says your boy had a belly full of piss and/or directly contributed to the incident with language or actions causing offence.
Yup, your young son was just walking along minding his own business when two big bad men, for no reason, randomly gave him a go for no reason.
I dont buy it.
Interesting how you felt the need to specifically state the race of the other group involved, - racial prejudice much?

when i first moved to dunedin 9 years ago to attend polytech ,
me and one of my exmates went to town after a few drinks ,
we were heading towards kc's to find us a slapper each
suddnly two fukwits came over and were all tough and trying to get us off the footpath and onto the road , i was smacked in the head (hook)and kicked in the groin a few times before i could even defend myself (we were reasonably drunk )
then they dragged me down the ally way opposite the meridian and continued to kick me on the ground my m8 stood there and watched me get bet up:mad:
this was for no reason what so ever !!!!
we hadnet even made it to a bar yet,
thankfully they diddnt get my pretty face and i appear to have balls of steel
we made it to kc's the folowing weekend with no drama and they was heaps of slut avaliable.
it does happen and it can for no apparent reason

Being drunk is no excuse for carrying out that sort of violence.
These random street bashings are an increasingly common occurrence and I know several people who have been victims of such brutality. I know these people well and they are all the kind of people who will never start shit with someone and they will always back down from a fight when challenged. Innocent people have the right to walk around in peace and they should not be subjected to such violence. NZ has a very violent culture when youths or young adults mix with alcohol. If you drive a car drunk and kill someone then claim "it's not my fault officer, I was too drunk to know what I was doing" then that is not an excuse that will be accepted in any court in NZ. Why should it be an acceptable excuse for violent thugs?
Just wait till you're the victim of crime and then I bet you'll quickly change your tune.

well he was pretty sober when i talked to him at the police station at 2:15 obviously walking along the footpath is enough to get a beating in your book
i know my son he isnt the type to do anything to justify a beating he is a second year accounting student,i doubt even he is stupid enough to pick a fight with a car full of shitheads,
well they were MAORIS should i have said non caucasians??? and the cops were already on the lookout for them because of other incidents earlier in the evening, but your entitled to your opinion no matter how stupid it is,

J.
Are you unable to read at all, or is it the comprehension part that challenges you?
Ill spell out what I was inferring "I bet your son was drunk and his own drunken actions contributed to the incident." - read that three times and you will realise your post was pointless. My comment comes from having seen his sons behavior in the not too distant past - based on that, I find it unlikely that his son was innocent. not impossible mind, just highly unlikely.
Im interested though, how exactly do you decide which bandwagon you're gonna jump on? one day you are arguing in favour of ''harmless'' acts of vehicular stupidity among young people, the next decrying any negative behavior and stating solemnly that there is no excuse for the behavior you have just condemned.

sorta shows my point. You could have simply said 'and a couple of guys got out of the car' - no need to denote race whatsoever.

Speeding on a deserted countryside road or spinning the wheels of a car while it is in a stationary position is very unlikely to hurt anyone.
Smashing a beer bottle on someone's face or punching them hard in the head is almost guaranteed to hurt them.
That's the difference.

So, you pick and choose which laws are acceptable to break at will, based on some arbitrary personal definition of what constitutes acceptable behavior . . .:nya::brick:

Yup, I should be allowed to do whatever I want AS LONG AS I'M NOT HARMING ANYONE ELSE or doing anything which places other people at an unnecessarily high risk of harm. Driving a car at 100kmh past a primary school while kids are trying to cross the road probably won't kill anyone if I only do it once, but the risk is so high that I don't do it.
If I choose to smoke a bit of bud, then who else is getting hurt? If I choose to ride a little bit fast on a quiet countryside road, then who am I hurting? I could write myself off, but then that's my choice.

A couple of guys I used to work with did that. They were both smallish at about 5 foot 9 I guess. One was a territorial soldier and both were pretty good at karate. Apparantly they would come to town and wander around the Square in the late evening. They never provoked anything or tried to start anything but they got a bit of sport from street punks trying to pick on them.

just dress a four year old boy in a red or blue t-shirt and take him to play in a park in hastings or napier and see what happens?
