Holeshot in Takapuna got one in on Friday and I purchased it 30 minutes later, Pick it up Tuesday afternoon!! Trading in my L1 GSXR1000 with 8k on the clock, Holeshot think I could be the first in NZ to purchase the new L2

If they're anything like the previous ones, they're actually quite light. The Busa ones weight a fucking tonne though. They have cats in 'em.

Gotta be pretty big to let'em breath proper like mate. And as others have said...first thing to get replaced anyway.

And the manufacturer has very strict noise regs to meet, so I guess figuring the muffler will go anyway why go to too much trouble over it?

They put a lot of effort in to the stockers, and they work pretty well.

Saw a black example today at lunchtime at Action Suzuki in Hawera.
Nice bike! The stock muffler actually looks okay in the flesh. I'd leave it on.

It looks like HONDA put a lot of work into the exhaust. Strange of Suzuki to let them do that....

Grats on the new bike - is it run-in yet :P

Hey is that exhaust a one piece? Looks like it from the pics.

Think the muffler is just longer than they were and it un bolts right up by the belly pan. Our new one should be here tomorrow...I'll av a look see.

...waiting with baited interest did it ride any different was the suspension much set up the same or softer? your L1 had a very stiff set up iv got the 09 (same) and it needed alot of changes to soften it up for the road and its mint now :yes:but standard was way too track focused
