Hi All,

Just picked up my new (to me) Suzuki Volty and was wondering if the parts from a GN250 are transferrable? I want to replace the rear shocks but they are $400 per unit brand new so I was thinking of tracking down a GN250 that is being wrecked and swapping them out from that?

Anyone know if this is possible and if so, is it an eay job to do? I'm reasonably technically minded!

Also does anyone happen to have an electronic copy of a service manual for a Volty?

Cheers

John

Seeing as GNs are either A a million years old, or B later ones made in China, on top of they were rubbish shocks to start with - why would they be any better than what you have?

Can't tell you what a Volty is, seem to remember they looked a bit GNish but will admit to being a snob, so can't say if they are same length or fitment.

I'd have a talk to the Hagon distributor for budget twin shock bikes.

doesn't the volty have 17 inch wheels?--I seem to recall thge shocks are longer than GN ones. personally I'd fit a set of icon or similar aftermarket units

the Volty has a GN motor, so does the wee 250 cruiser single they make....
