For those banned from Trade Me at work.......

My mate has been posted away, so to prevent the furnature pack-up being over sized he gave me this bike to sell.

It is truely a Pre 89 Post Classic! The bike has low k's indicated on the Odo... might pay to check these... However, if you want it could be a great project for a handy man with more time than me.

What is good?
Well, the wheels look straight.
The fairings have been removed already, so there is easy access to the engine to try and get it working.
All the bits are there.
A Haynes Workshop Manual! Great condition.
A Pack Rack with the L-brackets.

What it needs:
Battery firstly
Tyres. Although they have lots of tread, they also have lots of cracks from sitting!
Fairings could do with a tidy up.
And a few other minor faults....
Like I would replace the front discs, but that is me... they might be okay.
Has it been dropped? Yes. A few times....
Honestly, best you come and look at it!

The bike can be viewed by appointment. It is located at Base Ohakea.

With its 4 cylinder engine it will make a great cheap track bike to rap around Manfeild on if you wish to.
Or, it could well make an econimical mid size tourer.... This isn't a Ninja 1000 Superbike, so will not really give the inexperiemced a fright.... Perfect step-up from a 250 for a bigger person.

I will tinker away at it as time allows, and try to get it running, and keep you updated with the progress.

Rego is on hold (Owner not sure until when, but will find out and re-hold it if need be.)
WOF Expired.
So, As is, Where is for this one...

Any questions on this auction, please ask and I will try to answer them for you.

On the off chance you end up breaking it up I would be interested in the motor. Will keep an eye on the action.

There is no room in my shed.
It is currently stored in a shed I have borrowed on Base... There will be no breaking up of this package...
However, if the many watchers (yes, loads already) don't put a bid on it, then bidding will start at $1!

That's right. I want it gone before the end of March, so out it goes. Get in quick...
Heck, get the bike, pull the motor, and sell off the bits, you might make you money back, plus some (if you have room and time).

Hey. Are all the fairings, indicators and the headlight unit there? i.e. seat sides and front part around headlight.

Those GPX600s are getting rare! I like...
Thank God I'm broke or I'd be over in a flash

Hi Steve,
Yes everything is there. It is just packed in a box, and it was getting dark, so couldn't be bothered photographing it..
I have taken a few shots and put them on Trade Me, and will put more up over time.

The owner was going to get it totally road worthy but ran out of time. So gave it to me to sell.
Cheers

Trade Me is amazing.... You wouldn't believe how many watchers I have on this...
Roughly 10% of views... I am not kidding.

Will attempt to get it running this weekend, as I have to be at work anyway...
