excellent, I need a pair!. I emailed them last year and suggested they do one like the japanese flag except with a yellow centre so it looked like a poached egg. I reckon if they impregnated it with bacon smell they'd have a winner.

No worries mate.
His products are ace, wouldn't use anything else.
Anyone else that uses them will realise the same. Love the leather personally but it is a feel thing ;)

Oh about time someone brought them in again. I've had a set for a while thats just worn out.
Hey if I wanted to purchase the sparkies, do I just click the buy now on trade-me and just add the extra $10 for the sparkie version ?

Agreed, the Wiz sparkies are the best sliders I've ever used. When the finances are a bit better I'll be in touch :2thumbsup

You could just tell me what colour option you wanted and I could set up another auction or just flick me a PM on here :)

Stroudy has been running sparkies for years plus most modern suits have titanium elbow sliders

Used them since he made them, even helped develop them. Much prefer them to the plastic, more feel and feedback IMO.

Sweet! The Wiz plastic lasts longer than any others i've tried, how does the leather last?

If your into burrying your knee into the tarmac for as long and as hard as poss not long.
However the leather works best for skimming the surface as a feeler but comes into its own when you need that extra push and bite.
If all you have been used to is plastic they will take a little getting used to (you use them in a different way as mentioned) but the 'feel' you get is awesome.
Plus they 'smoke' on the surface (look at the pic in my album) so are way cooler than plastic ;)

The only reason I'd need those is to let other track/road users that I have come adrift :D
