NZ had a recent(ish) episode where the police car was photograped with a surfboard on the roof (coastal surf beach - iirc).
Upper plods were not amused.
The rank & file plods that I spoke with were amazed, especially since they cart around golf clubs and other types of sporting equipment in their police cars when going away.

I call unfair!...there just tring to blend in!, having headlights that work in Takaka is just plain showing off :killingme

The last time I was in the Motueka/takaka area I pulled over on main street Mot to wait for amate to catch up, the local Police pulled up in a marked 4x4 towing a trailor that was over flowing with POT!....he parked & hopped out, said gidday, and promptly walked in to the local dairy to get...AN ICECREAM!:nya: (I thought it was bloody hilarious...twas a hot day after all)

only cause they use cheap tactics <_< ... But really at the end of the day regardless of which gang wins, the law abiding NZer loses

But according to the media, it's only the Devils and Angels that are the main police focus for some strange reason......
