I have a mate who can speak Italian, and is doing something to do with translation at uni. He's also a bike but doesn't come on here often.
I've linked him to your thread.

Italians use a lot of characters...
But Italian roadsafety translates into very few words in English....
Basicly it just says "honk your horn"
You are not allowed on public roads there without one!
Most people cary a spare horn at all times!
In emergency though you can use finger............

Spent a bit of time in parma, learnt nothing but food and wine, road skills, just need a few hundred thousand lire folded in your drivers licence.
A remember seeing a chick in short skirt and tights riding a scooter (no helmet required) in light drizzle, on a cobblestone street, holding a parasole over her head, that is good skills. <_<

Go with google translate. What could go wrong?

(no really, at least paste some of it in and post the results here for our education)

rotfl!! here in italy we say "be careful to what you desire 'cause you could obtain it..."

let's try it...
part of page 113 and 114, "perceptive integration":

Luomo among its typical standing position, he needed the development of a complex mechanism of control of the center of gravity. Walking upright is not easy, it takes a long time to learn and, in case of accidents that may alter the bone structure or muscle, it takes a long time to get the same ability even if you "experts". The human body has thus created a series of reflections in the time for which such an imbalance is opposite an unconscious reaction to maintain the erect position. "To let fall" results in a heavy mental greater for the need to block consciously these reflections, as well as for psychological valences of the fall and the fear of having damage. A first peculiarity that we can note in the normal movement of the motion is the possibility to rotate around the longitudinal allasse: this is not a possibility physiologically typical for the man, and is demonstrated by the fact that the possibility of movement of the head is extremely wide around allasse Z, more limited but still large but much smaller cross around allasse allasse around the longitudinal axis.
Furthermore, the possible exposure to prolonged accelerations along X creates a loose stimulus that is perceived by our ears as "falling" (or, rather, as a rotation about the transverse allasse): backwards, if we are accelerating (and that's why we instinctively "hang "handlebars), forward, if we are holding back (and bring" hands on "pushing on the handlebars).
The same mechanism is integrated with the subconscious imbalances lateral arms also. Moreover vestibular lapparato is closely related to visual perceptions. This means that, especially in untrained persons, the importance of normal visual component is likely to override the cochlear information: on tiptoe, who has no trouble staying in balance with eyes closed with eyes open could have a front panel of cardboard that approaches or moves away slightly.
The most obvious result in driving motorcycles of all these additions is that by putting her head in a certain position or turning to look in a certain direction, inneschiamo a complex series of rebalancing unconscious that brings the bike to the point observed. "The bike goes where you look" is so common that unaffermazione fisiomeccaniche but solid foundations. Similarly in the absence or with reduced visual information useful to determine a spatial reference system, the sense dellequilibrio can be affected to a maximum of 60 seconds in the case of straight paths, even less in the presence of curves.
Fog, heavy rain and night driving can therefore lead to the danger of falling, even for no apparent reason.

well... it' seems a disaster even to me... and it can't handle apostrophes between articles and nouns... :D :D :D
