Hi Guys, update on how we are going.
We have currently raised 21 percent of the money needed for the second payment which is not enough, we simply cannot raise the funds in time. It was a long shot and we are going to be left out of pocket but we made key contacts through this process and we are hoping for a long term plan for racing over seas to be developed for Sam. All those who have donated are invited for a refund, as we said we would do if we didn't make it. We will make some more announcements later in the week regarding the coming year of racing.
Sam has also set up his personal website today, check it out http://www.samcroft.net/

Cheers

That is a shame guys.
Sorry to hear.

As for the refund... Na, forget it.
Just use my part toward racing at the Nats this year.... and mention my name at the prize giving... :done:

Sad to hear guys, I know how much you will be out of pocket and thats gotta hurt! Pleased to hear some people may not want there refunds so that is really positive and hopefully it can cover the initial deposit you made.

In the future all I can suggest is talking to and taking advice from people that have been in your position. Its great that everyone on here has been so positive, motivating and supportive but with respect 99% of them dont actually know what it takes. It takes months and months of planning, fundraising and major public interest when trying to do it completely on sponsorship money.

I wish you all the best for the rest of your national campaign. Taking a national title in your first season will be great for your CV. If you can dominate in a non development class next year like Supersport or Superbike you will find the doors will swing open for you.
