Its a double edged sword IMO. How far is too far? How will you be judged for your body midifications at a future job interview? Will the employer who doesn't have aproblem with the tattoo on my neck have the same view as one in the future? Who for example may have a phobia of ginger midgets, and ladybugs?

As for the sex side of, things like porn and sex toys are far more out there and people are far more willing to talk about it, wether it be for the shock value, or because its a genuine interest to those involved. Honestly, I think this comes about simply because us Guys are socially conditioned in NZ to vocally defend our masculinity in Public whenever it is perceived as being challenged, such as Male -> Male kissing. I think its a defensive reaction, and may not accurately reflect what individuals think behind closed doors. Consider it a kind of peer pressure maybe. Talking to female friends, they don't seem to mind it, and some do actively encourage it. I think it's one of those things that over time will become acceptable, it might just take a while.

Some people spend their entire lives going round in circles, not knowing what they want, or where they want to go. I'm one of them at the moment. I'm not entirely sure where my life is going, and my only dream, went down the drain a few years ago with a MTB accident and a head injury. That, amongst other things, will prevent me ever being a police officer. Which really fricken sucks. Police were, and mostly still are my heroes.

As society changes, so do peoples expectations. I was raised roman catholic. My church told us we had to be married before sex, but it was also a young church if you could say that. I think you would be VERY surprised what goes on behind what you might consider 'prudish' peoples doors too..... Remember that some 'mature' people often have a bigger budget to play with.
