Ace pics man. The dude monoing the bmw at the beach is so good, I love the illusion of the water on the dark sand.

Damn those pics are awesome. My favourite one was the Harley with the Brisbane skyline in the background. If only if were a crotch rocket instead...

I like how you posted the camera settings. Makes me think me and my 300D with 18-55 lens could possibly take something decent :sweatdrop

You can with a bit of planning, like what Dave did with an off-camera flash and a tripod + long exposures, or with practice you can get the same panning shots (preferably with a longer lens, not the 18-55mm). And the 400D is not far off from the 300D in specs either.

Noice shots, Dave!!:2thumbsup

Speedway sidecars with the chequered flag is my fave, perfect!!

My other  favourite, is the Night shot at Southbank, Bressy! Perfectamondo! That's stunning and on one shot!

EDIT..love Number 7!

Would love to get into photography but the gear costs more than my bike :(

Fantastic shots - love the sidecars
The long track is awesome, my husband has always wanted to race his sidecar there. A very fast track apparently - looks huge, I have heard the sidecars can get some serious speed up. Scary.

 I wouldn't know about that! In a short time, I've spent as much on bikes and bike gear as I think I ever have on photography equipment!

And the wife keeps looking at me sidways and asking, ":wait: So again, how is biking saving you money?"

Well that gave me pause to think about it.

Since 2000 I've spent $42k on motorcycle purchases and about $12k on cameras.

That D800 is starting to look mighty tempting though.

You can see (and almost feel) the motion in that first photo.

Since it seems meant for motorcycle photo and videography, I think you should... :devil2:

Yeah - people on here bag Wings, but I suggest they haven't done a big 2-up tour on one. They are fabuloso.

Dave, I voted for #12, for me it captures the spirit of the open road, the tarmac disappearing under the wheels. It was a tough call between that one and the guy riding on water. All the pics are awesome though.

I just set the Road Glide (Brisbane night shot) as my desktop wallpaper. Thats a cracker!
