Proper sprots bikes have two more cylinders. That's just a Harley with lipstick.

Hahaha yeah but it actually handles, brakes and goes quicker than a tractor.

After owning a Harley I suppose a blank sheet of paper would be impressive.

I'm surprised she didn't lie on the ground anyway in protest.

Especially in the presence of those horrible stock mufflers.

I guess, for some people, it's all about finding an unattractive bike that nobody who knows better would buy or ride, doing nothing to make it look any more interesting, and then spending a lot of money on a nude model before taking pictures of it.

Personally, I prefer to ride a bike that looks so good in photographs that nude females become a moot point.

Plenty of well informed people have the same opinion about HD..

As for the photo, it looks so good because you can hardly see it ?

Ahhhhh then you should have bought an MT-01, revs like a big block HD, goes like an XR1200, RI forks and brakes, decent frame..................

It goes well, the SV is an improved TL1000 basically but more suited to mid low range power, even then it still goes straight to licence losing speeds without a worry plus the twin Yoshis make it sound cooler than stock.

Which is why I find the Harley suits my needs.

That plus the fact owning a Harley is the best troll-bait ever...you pretty soon find out who the 'other' riders are - you know the ones that want to own a Harley as opposed to those who already own one...:shifty:

Nothing wrong with Harleys mate mine was super reliable and suited what I wanted at the time..

I thought this thread got rather shallow and vicious a bit quickly, without the prerequisite humour!. I am no Harley fan, but acknowledge their place and appeal to many riders. I love sportsbikes, but wouldnt push them on others, if they were not into them. I think the OP summed it up when he said he had his Harley for 2 years but it no longer did what he needed it to-time to move on to the SV-nice. But also a chance for those who probably wouldnt have a clue to dump their ignorant bigoted comments about harleys out there. Interesting-probably says more about the posters than the bikes!

I can poke fun at harleys and take it for being a power ranger! I think some of these comments [say around scummies tassels etc]are funny
but some are just sad stereotyping by people that wouldnt have a clue-imho of course!

This is all very true, my Harley was a good reliable packhorse nothing fantastic or what I would class as good handling, but that is not what the Harley is about, lifestyle , cruising at 100km all day is what a Hog is about.

I just wanted something different and the sport bike suits my purposes now.
