For those of you who haven't met Andrew Stroud and would like to, he will be at the Brother stand.
Had a chat today and got me pic taken with him. Seems like a nice bloke.

"Marketing" for Renaissance?
You're better off dodging the fanboi accusations at Microsoft.
Oh, at the risk of looking like a fanboi myself, there isn't a comparable, capable alternative for the mass-corporate business world. Until someone comes up with a credible alternative Microsoft isn't going away.
Yes, I am perfectly aware that there are better tecnical solutions, but there isn't anything with the sheer knowledge base, resources, or cost effectiveness available at the moment. That will change, but I'll tell you what logo it won't have. An apple.

oh please.
what makes me laugh (after 15 years in the industry) is that people don't seem to understand that:
APPLE DONT WANT TO BE MICROSOFT
really - we mac users couldn't give a rat's ass (sorry hitcher) about being the dominant OS.
we're happy doing what we're doing, and owning the corporate desktop (and the world) isn't our idea of paradise...
Steve Jobs recently said:
Apple have a better market share than BMW, Porcshe or Mercedes.
What's wrong with being Porsche?"
surely motorcyclists can undertsand that?

Hey Badcat, really nice to meet you yesterday. Thank you for the coffee and the company. It's always great to meet new bike people.
(Did I tell you that Hamish has a GS1200SS? We kind of got sidetracked into talking about racing......)
