It's quite simple:

1) Find a cow.

2) Slaughter the cow.

3) Carefully remove the hide.

4) Have the hide tanned and processed.

5) Take the leather to a custom gear maker.

6) Then go back and eat the fucking cow, ya skinny bastard...!

I'm just over 6 foot tall and 70kg and I don't have too many issues finding gear that will fit me. Go to a few different bike shops as they will probably have different products and try them all on.

Don't expect to find the perfect fit at the first shop you go to.

Try all the shops you can but judging by your height and weight, I reckon your best bet is some custom leathers by Sam at Celtic Leathers

If you don't go the custom route, and there are plenty of options (easier with leathers than textile), then I suggest Rev'it, as it's more of a European cut, which is slimmer and they have options for short, normal and long leg in some pants.

I'm a bit on the silly small side too (5ft7 on a great day) and have the waist of an anorexic teen, Quasimoto helped me out with a two piece suit last year at what I think was an excellent price, have tested it by putting myself down the road at 80-90 in a completely controlled manner and it works very well

Not sure what area you are in but motomail has a ton of options there that should fit up ok.
Shouldn't be too much of an issue really.

I'd try some of the Asian brands. They are typically made for smaller sizes (I ended up having to get Asian gear for my children to get something small enough to fit them well).

I have the same problem. I managed to get a leather jacket in Melbourne that fits really well, and some pants from 1tonne (textile, and as far as I can see, having ridden in a few downpours, almost totally waterproof).
I have a textile jacket whose arms are a good length, but then the rest of it is too big. Not too much of an issue because the armour stays where it's supposed to. The only thing with the jacket is that I think it creates more wind resistance than it needs to which gets a bit uncomfy on longer rides.

Good luck, and as everyone has said, just shop around a bit, you're sure to find something.

Private message Quasievil on here with the specs/measurements you want also, well worth keeping on the list.
I have had good service from him, he's even offered me some seriously good deals on gloves etc to go with the 2 piece suit I got from him. Otherwise, to stay "local" go to 1tonne.co.nz and see if they can help, I had a pair of leather pants from them, brilliant gear for the money. Don't buy their "race" boots though, I've been wearing them for a few years, they're good but fucking uncomfy and the zips are pathetic.

I've got the opposite problem to the OP, I'm too short for my weight. Sam made my trousers, If I needed another pair I'd go to him again.

I seem to recall that Quasi can do custom fitting gear as well.

Quasi doesn't come on here any more. I think he got sick of the haters. He's also not doing custom gear at the mo - I enquired recently.

My first jacket I bought was a Rev'it one, they seem to have quite a slim sizing. I'm about 178cm (I think) and weigh about 62kg soaking wet so I'm a fuckin' twig. The Rev'it one fitted really nicely.

I also found that buying womens or kids sized gear worked well and was usually cheaper. I bought some kid sized knee guards after skinning my knees in a spill, they were a lot cheaper than adult sized ones.

The current jacket I wear is an old Ministry of Transport bike cop jacket that I found in an op shop, cheap as chips. It's a top good jacket, has a zip-in liner, very thick leather, warm as hell in winter, plus it looks a lot cooler than most low to mid price range leather jackets out there. Try to find one if you can, they usually have a tag inside that reads "Naturalwear - made in Christchurch". They're black with a slightly angled zipper and that quilted diamond-stitching on the upper arms.

i do remember thinking its been a while since i've seen him post. shame really.

anyway i got some gear off him too, and have nothing but good things to say.

didnt know he wasnt doing custom anymore, but well worth an email at least to see what he might have on the shelf - never know your luck.

if you google qmoto you will no doubt find him.

I had to buy a xxl jacket for the arm length and then get the waist and sides reduced for my 88kg 6foot4 size.Nothing in large for my body shape has long enough arms.Cost $90 to get the side altered
