What a great day alright, thought it could be a crapper weather wise but no rain all day !!

Well Im loving the ZXR awesome bike, I didnt ride it that hard certainly not the blinding 275kph hard like WT rode it. But it handled it great and I was very impressed.
Rider of the day would have to be Two Smoke Boy oh Boy can he make that 400 fucken fly, fucken amazing chris

Torque and I headen south and ended up coming behind a dude in a Kia 4x4 who thought it was a chance to have a couple of bikers on, well like fuck I thought so took it to 140 kph and passed the prick, but the prick ended up poking his ugly Mug out the window giving us the fingers, it was V twin Raver:rofl:
so that called for a mandatory stop at the Rangiriri tavern for a well earnt and lusted after Beer.

All in all a really enjoyable day.

Oh and interestingly after many of us fuelled up at the Challenge gas stop in Puke the attendant pointed out to me and Rob (torque) that we were the onloy ones who filled up with 96 octane, all you others filled up with 91 octane, whats with tha ya cheap bastards:whocares:

What a F---ing magic day guy's. Awesome way to spend a work day! Great to meet some of the names on KBs and to experience the sheer exhilaration of blating around the track with some very fast riders. Got to open up the k5 a bit as well, now i have to get a new back tyre,F---ing magic. Thanks again guy's for a great day. See you all on the next one. Cheers Rob.

Fucking awesome day, first time i have ridden at Pukekohe since the nationals last november... Had the new shock in the back, it was hard as fuck... played around with the suspension and after 4-5 decent tank slappers (none of this wiggle shit) i felt alot more comfortable by the end of the day.... still needs some tweaking so might be out there next saturday... dveus did some rough timing for me and got 1:08's-1:10's consistently which felt about right (i estimate 1:09's and 1:10's). Still more time can be saved coming up the hill, and the left before the hill, as well as jennian and the exit out of castrol (was pretty slippery today)

Everyone was riding really well, great laugh to see WT on the TL... Bruce, Hayden and Grunta were putting on a awesome pace (ill bring the 600 next time aye???) As well as awesome wheelies from WT, Bruce and hayden...

Highlight today other than riding around the track, was seeing Dean Perkins in his Ford Falcon V8 Supercar go out with the drifters to show them how it is really done (some of the best drifting i have seen, and the mint sound too...)

And cheers Matt for this magic Pic...http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=13989

He sure made the dirfters look rather average.

Buggy: You're on drugs ya cunt. 275 was as fast as I saw on the clock and by Christ I was surprised.
k, two things to take into a consideration here:
a) I caught the slipstream of a ZX10 between castrol and the kink
b) you're on a slower bike :bleh: (proven)

I was getting between 260 to 270 without help, but that one time with drafting got me 285 maxed..

so fukin wish I was there.. and had the tank cam on. Wouldn't be able to max it out with the cam on, but still would have fun tryin..

glad you lot had fun out there, glad to see ya all back too ;)

What a choice day, first time at puke with the Gixxer, lovin it alright, sure hauls arse down the straight parts and just as quick as the TL in the corner parts. Brakes weren't upto there usual stopping power, and my hand was giving me more greif than usual (mabe i should've left it in cast instead of pulling the TL to bits with it :nono: )
Was good to catch up with hayden and grunta and deano who prolly wont sleep tonight through fear of what WT and co might do to his new pride n joy, suzuki ruled the day yet again, mostly gixxer thous and the lovely TL1000S :Punk: .
Good to see more than a few guys n gals hitting the track for the first time ever and loving it, hope to see you all out there again, Mattt bigger bike next time huh, tick it up brother.
Fuck gotta feel for that poor old pommy git stuck in welly, Jimbo my heart goes out to ya brother, we all had fun just for you mate :motu:

Nah mate, that was another KBer - I didn't want to tempt fate with only 50 km on the clock.

suzuki ruled the day yet again

Never had that much fun with my clothes on, still smiling today and planing to get back down there asap. Thanx for the photo's riff raff, and Frosty sorry about the bike mate. WT if that TL had'nt broke we could of swapped and you could have taken the gixxer for a spin......after the first session i could see me standing on the side of the track cryin'.....next time

Wow, what a day! Don't know where to start...

Thanks heaps to Gazza for fixing the throttle on my VTR. While he was working on that, Frosty offers me a blat on 911 around the track. Well, what do ya say to that! OK!

Never been on a track before, never ridden anything bigger than a 250, had my learners three months...

What a buzz! I get the feeling that yesterday may have been my first day on the track, but it sure won't be the last...

Thanks to the guys who were cool about me being out there...

Sorry to JSG for lapping you...

Will post some piccies and videos once I've sorted through them all.

Keystone rode awesomely out there. Here was I thinking that I would have at least 1 other bike to pass. Well she made an ASS out of U and ME. I didn't her see once that whole round:clap: Shit I'm lucky she didn't have more time on the track, cause I would have found she was passing "Roxanne's" fat arse as well:devil2:

RiderInBlack
14th August 2005, 11:25
Ooh TS, love you knee sliders. Looked good as you took me on the inside before Castrol, But dam I miss you two smoker:bye: cause even thought I could catch your 400 on the back straight, it was not enough to retake you before the hairpin:crybaby:

RiderInBlack
14th August 2005, 11:39
Hope "Roxanne's" fat arse didn't cause anyone too much trouble:devil2: Too bad if it did cause I had fun anyway (just love being repeatedly taken bike bikers:wait: ).

Seems Hayden had a near thing with "Roxanne's" fat arse around the bend before the Hill. He came and apologied at the end of that round (which was cool of him:Punk: ) as he reckons that he nearly hit me. Did anyone else see what happen (as I certainly didn't)? Hope it wasn't because I was taking a louise line through the corner. If it was, let me know so that I may learn to do it better. Otherwise passing is the responcibility of the passer, not the one being passed.

That's only coz they've yet to ride the fucker.

It doesn't "vibrate", it shakes. To the point you're wondering if the front end is going to fall out of it. You can't even begin to read the instruments between 160-240 indicated. It's really unnerving.

Well after playing silly buggers with Bruce on the motorway... it shakes less than it did with the old tyres.... If everyone rode it, everyone would want it... coz its so farken sexy, and sounds grouse... and the ladies will like the vibrations :bleh:
