heh, pretty sure the Spanish (and Argentinians) would see it as the end of the world... although if his left arm isn't pointing towards the northern star and his right foot isn't at a 45 degree angle when he does it, the Syrians may just feel a little Assad :shifty:

Bwaaaaa haaa. That was truly awful......all those years thinking maradona was a cheat and he was really only trying to get a message through by pointing at the northern star whilst touching the ball....go figure. Lol

Not sure maradona was giving much thought at the time to the divergence of trajectories in spaces of negative curvature but I could be wrong. More like how high can a player jump for a ball after eating 27 pies :)
