So.....Anything in the pipeline guys n gals?
Open to anything, anywhere.....Preferably a bit of mud, camp, water and lots of metal roads with a bit of food, drink and good conversation...Camera a must, video optional...
Must like bikes, the odd bit of dirt, like to maybe get a tad wet occasionally and of course a GSOH a must! :)

We'll be hanging around home/Reporoa, probably doing a couple of local off-road loops, but mostly getting our crap together from hardly being home over the last couple of months.

And I'm secretly hoping I can get Nic to go for a ride on the WR :shifty:

Looks like I am gonna have a second op to pull the screw outa my hand so depending on that I may be grounded ... again!! :angry2:

Bloody useless Surgeon left the screw sticking out 5 mm into my palm meaty bit, no wonder it is not happy and still swollen

Time is running out to fix it now.

Blinkin' hell - time is marching on, have you got a plan B? -can you postpone or will you have to ride with one hand  (shouldn't be too hard you are only planning a little ride after all!)

Hmmm.. I thought from Xmas I would be well clear too... can't take anything for granted eh but nothing like a little medical misadventure to spice things up, where are you heading to/through?.

Well with no knobbies involved it is really not worthy of being on this forum Andi, however seen as you asked - PCH1- LA right up to Portland, over Mt St Helens, Jasper & Banff in Canada, Yellowstone and Beartooth highway(!!!!) a quick squizz at Sturgis, right around the north of the Great lakes thru Canada, Niagara, then R66 but taking in trips to top of Pikes Peak, Monument vly, Grand canyon( of course), Fenix to c the airplane graveyard, Hoover dam, Vegas, Death valley and a few less well known attractions!
Heres hoping we both are ready in time for our respective adventures mate!

Are you shitting me that is a well cool trip which ever way you look at it!!! :Punk:

Adventure doesn't have to mean knobblies either, best for your trip mate, our start line is committed thus no plan B, even if it means recovering a little bit in Alaska before riding, just a minor speed bump in the big picture.

I look forward to seeing pics and reading of your travels too.

@ She ... remember the new road rules when turning which ever way you go

Heading North! Poutu, Ahipara, Back roads around the Far North and of course Houhora, 90 mile beach if the tides are right? At this stage, they look good :) I did this two years ago for a long weekend, so will revive my GPS data...
Tent, sleeping bag, fish and chips, muesli bars and the odd flat white...
Get lost, intentions of being lost and trying to find the out of the way tracks, roads, beaches and places to crash :shit:..I mean stay the night :)
