Prologue:
been battling with a battery issue for a few days now, after pushing it 2km home (thought it would be a great idea to go for a ride with a dead/dying battery), breaking down in the city with the new battery (again thinking i would manage the trip home with obvious battery issues) and pushing it to Britomart car park who were kind enough to let me store my bike there overnight free of charge

and then came the hero of the tale, Mr. Kevin Lewis of Motorcycle Recovery Specialists was kind enough to meet me at the car park and tow the bike to Botany Honda where it now resides in safe hands for mechanical attention. he's a great guy, really friendly, and had just finished saving another biker who broke down on the motorway (in the fast lane the poor bugger). definitely good to keep their contact information in your phone should trouble manage to find its way to you, and they also offer a service where if you've been out drinking they'll pick up your bike, you and your pillion and get you home safe

link to their facebook page to show em some love :)

He is indeed :D

It is perhaps worthwhile to mention I told him to get it checked out by Botany Honda (I ain't attempting to figure out lecky stuff around batteries) but no, he couldn't be bothered. Seems he can now, after pushing it a few times... funny how it works aye?

Kevin is indeed good though, haven't used him, but I've seen him as recovery at Hampton Downs, behind organised big rides etc. Mobile is 021 156 9448...

Out of curiosity, how much did the towing service from town to Botany Honda cost?
