Up for sale with mixed feelings is my second ever motorbike which has been my pride and joy during my restricted.
She's been trusty and enjoyable and I still enjoy riding her, but given my new full bike licence I have just purchased a loftier 600cc tourer to pillion my gf on long journeys.
Well kept and has only carried out 7.5k mainly commuter kms.
As new standard apart from a screaming demon exhaust which really gives a nice sound & frees her up while giving her more power.
First year of the NZ new EFI models, which means no carby starting problems & quicker responses (trust me, I had a carby version prior and much prefer this one).
I hope she will find a good master who will appreciate her as much as I did.

Unlike some common rival 250s you may be considering on looks, she doesn't feel or sound like a scooter!!!
The GT250R comes stock with a 249 cc V-twin engine. The Hyosung V-twin engine was designed in Hamamatsu Japan by a design team consisting of engineers who have previously worked in the research and development teams of Suzuki. Technical features include roller bearing camshafts, two-piece spring dampened bevel silent primary drive gears, dual squelsh combustion chambers; these features were previously confined to racing engines, and in the past have been uneconomical for manufacturers to incorporate into smaller capacity engines for street use. It utilizes a DOHC eight-valve engine configuration.
The GT250R's recorded fuel consumption is 3.4 L/100 km (83 mpg-imp; 69 mpg-US)[6] in comparison to 4.59 L/100 km (61.5 mpg-imp; 51.2 mpg-US) recorded on the Kawasaki Ninja 250R.
Non-adjustable 51 mm inverted forks are combined with a twin-spar steel frame to provide improved handling. Stock suspension setting is firm, providing stability through corners. Although commonly found only in larger sized sport bikes, the Hyosung GT250R comes standard with a 300 mm front disc setup using twin-piston calipers. Rear brakes are a single 230 mm disc.
