Hi All, Building up a track day GSXR 1000 K6 that has a stock engine, needs new chain and sprockets, will be 520 chain, question is.... what would be a good starting point for gearing for Hampton Downs, Taupo, Manfield and Puke? providing I run 190/55/17 rear, I realise its not possible with one set of sprockets to cover all but would rather not have to use two different length chains.Have been advised to run 16/42 ( and 17/42 for Puke).Stock is 17/42
Thanks in advance!

Sounds reasonable, I'd say 1 down on the front will still be fine for puke too.

I found HD pretty tight - I'd drop down a bit for that. Dunno about them others though...
