Hi all,
I want to get the tank on my bike repainted, anyone want to recommend someone?
Also any guesses on pricing? What's the standard approach, should I strip the tank right back or is it something I should leave for the pros?
Assuming I should do the stripping does anyone know any good guides to this?
Cheers,
Shaun

Are you color matching to something else?
One color?
Any damage to the tank?

Would like to match as closely as possible to the original colour. Would be based on the plastic side panels. Having said that depending on costs etc would be happy to get the side panels done as well.
Yep, one colour, nothing fancy.
One dent in the tank which I am thinking I will try and pull out and fill (may as well if I am going to sort out the paint work).

Send it up to me mate, chuck it in a box and send it NZPost.
Here's one i did for a guy in Auck' for his R6. He was rebuilding it into a Rossi rep' so i had to do the white & blue. Had to fix a dent by filler neck & match colour to the rear fender that he sent down (candy blue)
Did whole job for $250.

I should have also mentioned that Rosiez dont do graphics.
For them go and see Lets Get Graphic on Iverson Tce (I think). They did every single Katana graphic on my 85 Kat for $140.
I'd imagine just the tank stickers would be waaaay cheaper than that.
