Anyone who claims there's nothing amiss has clearly got their eyes wide shut.

I have often wondered how a 757 can virtually leave no debris. There should have been more left of the Petagon one and the Pennsylvania machines.

Aren't you one of those people that think global warming is a myth and the majority of the scientists in the world are conspiring to lie to us?

No, like me he's one of those people who can see a bunch of scientists competing for a dwindling pot of research funding happy to throw caution and integrity to the wind in an attempt to keep their department running. Truth has nothing to do with Capitalist research funding models.

All the great breakthroughs were made by a few people who had enough money chucked at them to not worry about where the next spud was coming from. The only research project in the last 100 years that was successful despite having more money and industrial effort thrown at it than all the world's industrial might of the time combined was The Manhattan Project.

So you believe it's a conspiracy.

I'm going with a series of loosely connected fuck ups, but that's a pretty cool conspiracy theory video. It certainly caught my attention.

Even with my eyes wide open ... I could never claim to know the "truth or otherwise" about these damn things!

When I went to ground zero my conclusion of the whole thing was very simple.
It did not matter. Regardless of who was at fault - it was a big fucken mess.

Say the gubbermint did it - you can't trust them

Say terrorists did it - you can trust the gubbermint cos they let them in.

Its a lose-lose situation.

The US government would not destroy it's highly valued symbols of US power and economics including its iconic WTC, (and its own people in them), just to garner support for its war on terror. Totally ludicrous and unneccesary.

It would be like NZ's govt. blowing up the Beehive and the Reserve bank, (and the people working in them), to justify targetting Triad gangs here.

Having seen a few documentaries on the whole 9/11 tragedy, there's no question that what happened and the official version of events are at odds.

To drop a 757 into a field in Pennsylvania without leaving any aircraft debris is a first for starters.

As for the US government being behind the whole thing....I dunno....all I recall is lots of questions that haven't been answered in a satisfactory manner.

This event is a bit like the shooting of JFK, fodder for many to salivate over for years to come.

Uh no it wouldn't. For one triads don't have oil. Secondly, we don't have a multi-billion dollar war industry. And I'm more of a '9/11 believer' than a conspiracy follower, but I do agree there appear to be some major cover ups and questions being avoided.

I was struggling to think of a NZ equivalent... :innocent:

But considering the magnitude of the failure to prevent it, you would expect those in power to be trying to cover their backsides and say "It wasn't my fault!"

You need to read a few more reports, plenty of wreckage was found including engines

Perhaps bombing the Beehive and Reserve Bank to blame the Fijians in order to invade and exploit their coconut oil resources?
