There are some very frustrating components of the game...that's for sure.

Yeah - like not being able to play it enough!

Choppers are still to easy to fly - being able to fly a chopper in to the Lower Dam flag at Kubra Dam is a bloody joke....

C4 etc is much more fun than the original

400m shots with the short barrel special ops weps are a joke - as is the poor aiming of the SVD sniper (pisses me off as I lurve sniping).

wkid thought i had seen you on some of the servers, the annoying thing is a sniper headshot still dont kill neither does a decent centre of chest shot, unless you have the barrett. Got my spec ops badge or whatever it was using it as a sniper.

Yeah, saw that, but with my shift work, I'm too unreliable.
I could only make two or three games with the clan evil angel set up, and it just annoyed me that I couldn't make it.

Why didn't you check out ocnz, I've setup an OCNZ clan for the ea cup we are semi short on players too. You can still sign up but you'd have to wait 2 weeks untill your first match.

That teamswap bug has got to be the only thing I really dislike about the game. The sooner fixed the better, lost count of how many times my teammates have shot me in the back now... :argh: :Oi: :confused: :mad:

That doesn't make much sense, that means the best players will never get it. See that c3.elmo has over 300 of each of the gold, silver and bronze star but no other medals, wonder how you get those. He must have no life.

You get it for having a 1 to 5 kill to death ratio in a round with a minimum of 20 deaths and I think you have to be killed before you get the kills.

I set out to get it...I haven't been to concerned with points but have been trying to collect a few medals.
Most of them are easy to get, they just need a little focus.
The C4 badge is the one I'm struggling with at the moment...so if someone wants to stand still while I blow them up 15 time:yes:

Hmm no I don't think that computer will handle it, my XP1700+ with radeon 9700 and 1gig of ram struggles to get 30+ fps in low quality so yours wouldnt quite cut the mustard. You need a min of a radeon 8500 or geforce fx to run it anyway.

Been playing abit more now, need to get some more medals and badges though.

and there needs to be a proper weapon to take out the blackhawk, in real battle they suck in occuppied areas helos as you can take them down with shoulder or man portable rockets but alas not in bf

Might need some more ram. Minimum for game is 512mb, mine uses around 700-800mb during gameplay. Otherwise sweet as, though a better graphics card always makes things prettier

I had a 3200+ with 1GB of RAM and a 9600 Pro 256 => Not quite good enough.
Changing the card to a GF6600GT made a lot of difference.
Apparently 1GB of RAM is the way to go as well.

Tonights match was good (Dragon Valley). We got the win, had some fun using the LAV to take village, even had to swim the river at one stage. Was overshooting with the M203 which was a pain, but got the range in at the end :) Our Helo pilot and gunner owned - good old blackhawk whoring. I think most of the fight was happening up at the power plant from the looks of things.

Must listen to the shoutcast when its avail.

Yes, but your hard disk will be churning away trying to swap memory in and out. When I play the game, my disk activity light barely flashes at all.

I am running Paradise Cable - absolutely wicked - lower ping than ADSL (av about 15).....also - no dramas with phone lines etc. That said, my house was pre-wired for Clear - so it was a doddle to connect.
