:2thumbsup I've been riding for 12 - 18 months and recently passed my Restricted. I figured it was time to get some Professional Tuition and completed the Confident rider / Back to basic course today. Philip McDaid the chief instructor was brilliant! Heaps of patience, encouragement and had plenty of wisdom to offer to my many areas of lack and inexperience. So I've got lots to remember and practice which will hold me in good stead for my Full Licence. Well done Philip and Thanks! Oh and I forgot to say ACC is paying $100.00 of the course fee!

Well done,, money very well spent, even after you have a full license the learning never stops. Phillip is indeed an excellent coach. You chose well.

ACC currently subsidising courses from a few providers, the first course you do from any of them, and they will put $100 towards it for you.
Excellent thing, will only be happening for another month or two, so get in while you can.

We had Phil come through to the air force base and do basic handling tests & coaching. He was excellent.

Thanks Roger. I follow with interest both yours and Geoff's blogs, so it was a bit of a contest between Tricia and Philip. Nothing against Tricia by the way...Kevin
