This morning, I thought for a change I'll stop being a lazy tart and ride my bike to work (I've been shocking lately... since that group ride with 38 bikes I've ridden my bike... maybe.... 4 times... and it's been nearly 3 weeks... but mainly because of Sam... I know it's not an excuse lol... gotta try huh?)

Anyway... I pull out the drive way seconds after a bike shot past (I'm not sure what the bike was... but it's one of those bikes that kinda looks like a dirt bike, but it's a road bike...) and it had a big yellow "PACE COURIER" bag on the back of it... I was riding behind this biker and started to slow down as I went past Birkenhead College (Speed Camera), the courier guy didn't slow down much, nor did the cars (which is normal... but thats ok let them empty the film in the camera...) and from the side road just after the Speed Camera... some idiot wanker cager pulls out ride into the path of the guy on the courier bike... My reaction was "Brake now" and I did (even though I wasn't anywhere near the cage or other biker... I was thinking it for him and doing it myself lol... strange...) anyway...

The courier guy pulls into the oncoming traffic lane, pulls up as close as he could to the cage and starts shaking his fist and looking very angry... I couldn't see the cage driver as to whether it was a male or female... but they slowed right down, the courier guy slowed down, and I thought "I'll just stay back here at 10kph and watch incase something happens and help/witnesses are needed...

Nothing else ended up happening and the biker gave another display of shaking fists and the infamous middle finger then hooned off...

Good on him for showing the cager that what he/she did was stupid, dangerous and next time it just might be a gangster on a harley bashing his head in instead of a courier with road rage...

I havent ridden my bike at all since that ride :(
Is someone playing a violin? Can you stop that please, thank you.
I remember on of the key lessons my dad taught me. "son,
1.dont do drugs, they need you more than you need them,
2.Pick your arguments, noone got rich from arguing over the best way to piss, and
3. Dont ever, never try to follow a courier rider.

I agree they drive/ride all crazy... part of the job I know... but still more risky than I'm prepared to go
