Looking at some mufflers for the TL and wondering about problems at WOF time using these shorties or similar, havent had to get a wof with the cans ive cut down as yet so nothing to gauge how much grief i am up for as yet.Surely the pipes for the Duc streetfighter wouldnt be to over the top if they sell them for road use as opposed to some cans being labled "race only "etc.

Ask somebody to take the TL in to wherever you get your WoF's done and ask ...

So do i mate but with the riveted bracket holding them together things get a bit complicated, the others i can simply move them about a bit in the hangers which means no messing/minimal with the exhaust, though am tempted to just buy them or similar and get another small piece of exhaust made to suit, what i have is that piece slips on just under footpeg so no real biggie.

I hadnt noticed the rivits on the fmf and i dont like that idea at all.Movement in rivit and carbon fibre over a period of time wouldnt be good.
Do the acras come in carbon as a option? Can you spec the gap between pipes when you order?

No hurry, bike's off the road for another week or so at least. Will need to find someone to make up a link pipe as the shotgun look is horn. Cheers :-)
Will beat the quad oval i habe at the moment (ie dented and bent)

Am betting they would,i can change the gap by using different straps as there seperate cans.

As long as they have a db killer in the outlet (it will be removable to release the good stuff) they will be quiet enough for a WOF. The name brand pipes when fitted with the db killers inserted are quiet, even cutting them down a bit they will still be quiet. By reducing the length of the db killer you can control the noise to the level you desire.

I've got a soft spot [or is it 'hard on'] for these types of twin parallel pipes. To me they look different and gorgeous...
