Hi fellow bikers,
just joined KB. I'm restoring a Kwaka Z900 and I'm looking for a good painter for the tank, side covers and ducktail - to replicate original Jaffa colours. Do any of you know of, or have experience with a good painter for classic bikes with candy paint jobs? Preferably in the Auckland region but will send further afield if worth it.

thanks.

Mark Hatton in Hamilton has a solid rep for that era of bikes.
Be prepared to wait though.
Contact any of the bike shops in Hamilton for his details.

You could also try Brian Meadowcroft in Huntly, trading as Cyclecolor. He has been painting forever, and I believe he's doing all the bodywork for Graeme Crosby's Z900 restorations. He painted a set of R90S bodywork (with the smoke effect) for me last year, and the standard of his work is exceptional. I felt that his price was fair for the quality of his work.

YMMV etc
