Will probably skip the saturday one as have done that before. More likely to do the "Boom Rock" than the TT race as it's so much closer though I would like to try some flat paddock racing.

didn't know about the saturday one so we were going to the boom rock ride.
but with the odds of wellington having another weekend of stunning weather almost nil we'll probably decide on friday.

A bunch of us "road racers" have decided to go and give some dirt bike riders the learn at the Miniature TT mate. You should come! I have seen you ride though so its not such a bad thing if you dont hahaha

It's always good to ride at different locations but last week's Takarau Gorge trail ride was the best one. Slippery enough to be challenging, a good bush track and up and down some big hills.

gotta love the local wgtn rides.
was the makara wind farm pics the ride on the 21st april (saturday)? didn't realize they'd let you so close to the turbines.
we had arranged to do the ride on sunday before we knew about the makara ride.

Yes the wind farm ride was on Saturday 21st. The turbines are so tall you actually don't notice them much until a shadow from the blades overtakes you.
How's your bike running after the top end rebuild?
