View Full Version : Brake calipers?

I have a EN125 brake caliper that I have almost completely rooted now. Seeing as the only site I could find a new one for was a UK parts site that wanted ~$180.
So I turned to wreckers and heard from one that they could be the same as the FXR150's caliper.
Does anyone know if this is true or has access to necessray/relevant info?
I have checked google, service manuals and several used part sites and come up with nothing.

would help to know
A the year of the bike
B whether it's the front or the rear caliper
C why you think it's had it; as it may be able to be repaired

Measure the mounting holes
I'd put $1 on it being the same as a GN125/250

A) 2005
B) Front caliper. The rear is a drum.
C) Exhibit A:262117
The bolts are completely seized and in my attempt to drill them out have only been able to remove the head. I will be having another crack (or two) at it, but it would be nice to see if there are any relatively cheap alternatives.

My first thought too, but nope. The EN (as shown) has two pots while the GN's have one

Though actually, yea, the caliper itself may actually be the same size...

I'll measure my Ginnays one when I pick it up, just in case

65mm
The top bolt is more of a shaft, it was loose and could wiggle around a couple of mil
