The speedo cable snapped on the way to work this morning :facepalm: Anyway were are the bike stores round here ? i can fix it just need the parts and work ( repco ) cant get them for me , using the tacho to tell me speed at the mo :Punk:

He works from home so if you ring him he first you can often go in the evening. Very good mechanic, one of very few I would let work on my bike.

there was a time you could get just inners, or partial cables.... but with the 'modern' spares system, either a s/hand one which to be honest will be of dubious condition..unless you KNOW it comes off a very low K's bike... you'll have to buy a new one at jap prices........ sometimes they are not too bad, but???
