Hi guys,

Thought I might give this a go, seeing as I live in Cambridge and it's just down the road. I assume competitors will need a MNZ competition license? Does anyone know if day licenses will be available for people without one? The 2011-2012 license expires soon so I don't really want to buy one, then have to renew it in a couple of months, so I figure I'll buy a day license for the first couple of rounds if possible. I haven't raced in years so I'm not really sure what's the go.

wont be able to make it down to this one but hope to do some later in the series, its a wickedly fun little track there,

They must have made some bucks last year, every class was pretty much full. We could only run one class because there was no room..
I believe they have added more gates and modified the top section to accommodate them. Good to see them putting $$ back into he track.
This is indeed a fun little track, bloody good club and good people there. These changes look awesome, sad to see the hugest berm in the waikato go though!

the only race i can get anywhere near Wiki is a boat race, and its been that way for quite a while, Vets for me and if they let me with numbers then maybe the pro class,

Nobody get's near him at Cambridge..
Dwane Rameka is the man to beat in the Vets.. I won't be any bother to ya, well maybe for the first lap..

Dwane has some pace, we used to help him out years ago in natioanl 125, whats he riding, the 450 i have is not ideal for around there,

Last year he was on an RMZ250, we were all fighting for 2nd and 3rd.. Think he won NZ Vet title in his age group last year too.
His brother goes all right as well.

Don't really know any other way than fighting and getting roosted, I do try to win but that hardly ever works out.. Guess I need some more speed eh..
It is bloody good fun dicing it up though! Sunday will be awesome, can't wait!

I heard that there had been some changes and tidy up goin on there from the pics you guys have been busy! :2thumbsup

I always enjoyed racing at cambridge it was a neat layout with some real challenging bits thrown in as well.

Man I wish I was still doin MX, might have to see if I can get some time to head over for a look

Awesome day! Track changes all worked well, got real rough towards the end of the day, good fun.

Well it was awesome again! Got flippin rough but was still good.
Club has done more good work, the track was looking a real picture in the morning.
Holeshot the first +35 vet moto and was holding onto 4th into the last lap then stalled, I will get over it one day.. :brick::brick:

have a look at sportsweb website, Graham Hughes who does alot of speedway shots put them up,

i might come next month as i should have MNZ licience by then, (i refused to pay a full year fee for 2 months)

was a good day down there, with some fast boys in the vets, the new track layout is very cool, with some technical sections, huge improvement imo, got rough enough to be interesting as well,

nearly got the money for the holeshot, but i think DK snuck up the inside

Yeah it was a good day all right, the Vet class was stacked ! Damien got the $50, I managed to stay out of trouble and get 3rd overall for the season.
That was the dustiest I have ever seen the track, didn't enjoy it as much as when its got some moisture but still a good day out. And good to see you there Scott.
DK schooled everyone eh, even Wiki couldn't get him. Bring on 2013!
