My little brother binned it today and royaly munted the forks (both twisted and bent) If anyone has some spare forks that fit a 1988 GPX 250 for a deacent price it would be greatly appreciated or if anyone know how to fix such munted forks that would be awesome too. Also, if anyone knows if the forks are the same on any other models of bike that would fit so I can broaden my search this would be a great help!.

Thanks in advance!!!:niceone:

No other forks will fit in without other modifications AFAIK.

You can straighten forks depending on how badly bent they are.

I have a straight set here waiting to go in as the left fork is bent on my GPX. Haven't got around to swapping the forks over and seeing how much it is to straighten the bent one yet.

Took me forever to find some on trademe.

I see there are some on there now but no pics or description of condition so will be a gamble http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/motorbikes/parts-for-sale/suspension/auction-469207805.htm

Make sure you have a good look around after taking the tank off. My friend got a gpx 400 years ago and the front wheel didnt look like it was correct but the forks looked straight. It had had a front end hit in the past and the frame had straightened up at the top changing the steering head angle.
