heh got a funny story a bit like this one.
was working security at a bar (I wont mention names - but if someone wanted to dig, they could find out easily enough) in Dunedin.
a gay couple (both about 19 years old) decided they would make a complaint to the human rights commission after we kicked them out and told them they were banned for life.
It was quite funny when a parent of one of them came to the bar a week or so later to berate door staff for 'blatant homophobic discrimination against a young couple you have enough obstacles' blah blah blah.
when she looked like she was done, I calmly told her that she should perhaps get her information in order before starting a crusade, and her gay son and his boyfriend were not kicked out because they were gay
'Oh, that right?, so WHY the if not for their sexuality huh?'
