Hi all

Looking to get hold of the owner of the White and Blue GSXR750 that was damaged on Tuesday night parked on Dixion St in Wellington.

Bike Plates: 33ZES

We wore walking across the road when we saw it happen.

An Allbrite Rubbish collection truck Plates: DPG293 stopped to pick up a rubbish bin then drove forward right into and over the front of the GSXR. The 4 guys in the truck then quickly stood the bike up and wore going to drive off so my self and one of my friends took photos of the truck and the guys man handling the bike.
Because we made a point of taking photos they got a bit of paper out and started writing details. I also put my details on the bike but when I came back they wore all gone and the bike had not moved.
I did slip my details again down between the screen and the speedo cluster but I am not sure if it would stay there.

So If you know who owns this bike and they would like the details of what happened and the pics for insurance then PM me or reply on this post.

Thanks all.

Have a lovely Anzac day.

Regards,

Kris

Nice one but if you still have the pix and details of the garbos stop in at the local cop shop and tell them all about it. They should in turn contact the bike owner.

yea keep copies of all the info u have bro, make copies and give it to the cops, and maybe leave more copies on the bike if its still there?

good chance the owner of that bike won't be a kiwi biker member etc.

good on you bro!

slight point, the word ur looking for is 'were' not 'wore' ;) sorry.. it bugged me lol

write ur number/details on the screen in twink or paint pen or something. it'll come off easy enough but wont blow away ;)

im sure the owner will come to the bike soon if not it might be abandoned/stolen?

either way def pass some details onto the cops

The owner of that Suzuki, sure does owe you a beer!
Well done that man and I'm pleased to see that though they may well have taken you're details off the bike thy at least disn't threaten you to give them your camera's etc, as has happened in the past.
Again good on you and welcome along to KB we need more like you here.

good thinking man.
as some have said, its likely the rider is not a KB member.
I suggest going to the police, and giving them the details, and telling them that you want your details passed onto the owner in case they require a statement or something for insurance/legal reasons.

alot of people would stand there and watch, and do fuckall - good on you for doing something.

Well just an update on this.

The owners insurance company called me today. The truck registration plate is actually registered to a BMW car so the truck is not even legal so Allbrite Services will be in more trouble than just hit and run.

So thanks to everyone for your comments and spelling and grammar lessons.

There's no chance you transposed a letter or digit of the licence plate?

good work on helping out strangers bro. Big ups to you aye..

Allbrite sounds like they are a bloody shifty company. If they are knocking over bikes and then taking off, using the wrong reg plates.. what else are they doing? get the IRD to audit them etc haha.. sounds like a shady operation they are running..

good on ya, I hope the owner of the bike gets in contact with u and says thanks at least..
