Otipi Track, BOP. ANZAC day

Hi, My mate and I did a day ride down the Otipi Track recently. 50k out n back. The track is currently in excellent condition. I have a ride report here for anyone interested.

Nice, been meaning to go for another explore in there for a while. :niceone:

I have thought about adding it in to the MMMMM but the river crossing at the start is probably dodgy-impossible through much of winter. Mate of a mate has a hut in that way that I've been thinking about asking if we could stay there & organising a trip over the Otipi sometime, maybe next summer.

We were scouting out a challenge section near Minginui to put in the MMMMM last weekend. :devil2:

it starts from the Motu Road

Look for Toatoa on the Motu Road. Follow that up till two rivers meet, turn right through the river n enjoy.
