i doubt it, Joe Gibbs racing will have a very good contract, and it will cost him a bit to get out of it and race for another team straight away,

According to his twitter it sounds like he is: http://twitter.com/#!/js7
@js7 “I look forward to seeing my fans at hangtown behind the starting gate. More news to come soon. Here we go folks!”
No mention whether he'll be on the JGR Yamaha or a Suzuki though. I'd say it'll be the Yamaha, there's not much time to get out of the JGR contract and sign with Suzuki before Hangtown. Wonder if his decision to ride outdoors had anything to do with RV getting hurt haha.

His contract with Team San Manuel Yamaha, was SX only and that was the same for Chad Reed when he was with them.
But JGR has done both SX and MX I know with Josh Grant, so was hoping bubba would be contracted to outdoors as well.
bummer if RV is hurt, I lost interest after BT101 got hurt, was so looking forward to seeing him take it to RV, I belived
he had a shot at that title.
If Bubba racing Ill be watching.

JS7 has the option of racing outdoors with JGR, but he doesn't have to. According to Jeremy A. he had to let them know by the end of April if he was going to, and as of mid last week he hadn't said anything to JGR.
Yeah sucks RV is hurt. Messed up his knee last weekend and had surgery last week, so thats him out till next year. Really hope JS7 rides outdoors, someone needs to give Dungey some competition.

Stewarts Tweets have been interesting,
first saying he was in for hangtown,
then congrulating JGR on their Nascar win,
Then cheering on HIs JGR MX teammate during the SX race yesterday,
Will be very interesting to see how he goes, the last time he rode MX he got beaten easily by dungey,
The other interesting person will be ALessi, he is riding as well at SX as he did on the factory Suzuki, and he goes better in the outdoors, esp at Hangtown, where he has won before, and looked very good their last year till he KO'd himself in the last practice

Maybe he should do as Chad an go to his own private team might make him more focused at staying on the bike till the end of a race.

yeah that would be good, but you see how much better chad got with a factory honda, and James almost runs a team with in a team anyway in the entourage he has with him at all times,
can not wait to see the press release to see what the outdoor ride is, the rumour is a Red Bull Suzuki, but maybe just the Yoshi Suzuki Team with Metcalf with Red Bull personal sponsorship, (Rockstar no longer sponsors the Factory Suzuki Team)
but interesting message on twitter this morning,
DavidVuillemin: Im pretty sure with what James had to walk away from, you could feed a third world country for a year...

I didn't realize there was that much money in sx, though DV should know.
I do think js was right to walk away, rumors on vital of seconds a lap faster on a suzuki.
It's going to be a very interesting outdoors, my pick would be Dungey with a big caveat that if js7 can get 3 races in without crashing all bets are off.

The rumours were right after all. James Stewart has signed with Yoshi Suzuki, and for a multi year contract even.

Interested to see how he goes, Yamaha will be spewing but i am not sure if it is a win win for suzuki, if he gets back to the form he has in 09 when he won the SX on Yamaha's, or 08 when he went 24-0 in the outdoors on the Kawi will people think its the bike? or just him,
I am sure he will win some motos on this bike, But Dungey has a very good team around him (which is mostly ex Suzuki guys) and I am sure Decoster will have the bike going well, With RV and CR22 both gone for the season it is a bit easier than it could have been
It will be interesting to see who else can step up, Metcalf and SHort have been the best of the rest for a few seasons now, can they come up and be contenders, and Weimer and the rumoured teammate Tyla Rattray (who is said to be getting the call up to fill on RV's 450) are others that may be there, Rattray is kwown to be very fit and may make some podiums,

Will be interesting to see how much the Yamaha has affected him this season, I know Coppins hasn't the greatest fondness for it. I've read a couple of times the front end is very sensitive to set-up and can be a bit too eager to wash out if not dialed in right.

More pics, looking really comfy on the new bike. If he cleans up you really have to ask was that Yami just no good for him. After all GJR spent a small fortune making it the way he wanted it.
