Accepting the fact that you've made up your mind anyway...
I would have thought a VFR or Ducati wouldn't exactly be comfortable for a pillion. Sure, they will have more power, but I have to say that I ride a 750 often with a slapper on the back seat, and it very rarely is a struggle in power.
Looks very tidy though. Needs flame paint job.

I Know! thats what i thought! But apparently the mrs ends up sitting on her tailbone, whereas on the Viffer/ Duc ST3 she sits happily on her ass with no complaints.
PS.. anyone want to trade a ST3? :bleh:

Sounds to me more like you just need the seat reworked. Look at all the other seat threads here. New foam and a different shape makes a huge difference.

Back and what what... a guy in the club I was in often got stuck carrying other guys girlfriends and bimbos. His wife never went on the bike, and some of the guys only had single seaters.
Occasionally I'd get stuck carrying one as well, and I can tell you that the girls found my seat way more comfortable than his. But the leg position on mine was worse.
Both are problems that can be remedied.
Even relocating the pillion pegs might take weight off the tail bone. Or a sissy bar.
You can get relocation kits that drop or move the pegs, sissys bars common as, and seats can be redone at most auto upholster place. I personally go to a marine upholster, as they have fabrics designed to get wet.
No pun intended.
You should expect around $200 or less to get the seat completely redone with a different foam shape and cover. Costs more if you fully replace the foam and more still if you get that foamthodic stuff.
