A pretty piss-poor position from the prime minister. But not overly surprising from an ex-currency trader.
Sort your shit out Key, your government is starting to look like a bunch of corrupt of old-boys.
disclaimer: i have never voted labour, nz first, greens etc so mine isn't a labour supporter view.

why is that piss poor? ethics differ from person to person, we have laws to provide a boundary, within which we have freedom of opinions, freedom of moral choices and ethics etc.
some people are gay, some people think being gay is a horrendous crime, some people think smoking is disgusting, others will fight for their right to choose to smoke or not.
Everybody has different morals, as long as people are happy, and havent broken the law, then so fucking what?
and i didnt even vote, so this isnt a pro-national view.

It's business, not personal so anything goes. I expect next to nothing more of any politician I'm afraid.
Bullshit. Anyone saying anything against the National party is a commy red bastard and anyone saying anything against the Labour party is a right cunt... it's the law!

When you are up to your neck in alligators it hard to remember that the original intention was to drain the swamp!
The opposition have nothing constructive to lift their game on, so they drive the media into straw clutching news construction! :corn:
The opposition have been down this road so many times, never more so than lately ... they must be desperate from reading the latest polls! :violin:

True, but we do have winners and losers and that's all that matter really.

I do seem to recall Key (when in oppsition) demanding Helen Clark stand down Winston Peters when the Owen Glenn donations were in the news.
Or is that somehow different? 2008 is so long ago, we've all moved on from there, hmmm?

Winston Peters was an MP when the donation was made and then lied to the Privileges Comittee. Winston Peters also accepted undisclosed money from racing industry bigwigs then became Minister for racing and gave them favourable treatment.
John Banks wasn't even an MP, the donation has nothing to do with his responsibilities, and the evidence is disputed. So yeah exactly the same.
John Banks is a cock though.
