I was just walking from work (near Victoria Park) to an internet cafe on Queen St before having to meet a friend tonight...

And there is a guy (A street performer... not sure what they call themselves) and he is on a motorbike, all spray painted grey, all his gear is grey and everything and he is staying dead still... looks really awesome... took a picture on my phone, but not sure how to get that onto the net...

His number plate on the bike is "89STU"

He looked really good... gave him some money and wanted to write a note saying "go to kiwibiker.co.nz" but didn't have a pen on me...

Bikers are so kewl...

Must be one of those guys that do the "human statue" bit. Had a guy like that on CSI: New York a few weeks ago. Street bum died (natural causes) and the guy who usualy did the bit set him up to take his place for a day. Guy really wanted a day off.

Saw that guy at the lights at Queen and K'rd, thought "What the?" then thought of humorous accidents involving cement pumps... But I'm not right some days...

I'd probably drop some money in his hat too.

Maybe a KB business/membership type card is a good way of inviting peeps to the site, though www.kiwibiker.co.nz (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/) is an easy address to remember for most. I've spelled it out to people many times.

Yeah a litte card or something would be cool... but again as you mentioned just spelling it out to them should be sufficent...

*likes the idea of the card though*

I've got a pic on my phone... I'll see if I can e-mail it to myself and then post it...

Not sure what the quality will be like though...

Ok well there is the picture... It's not very good quality as it's off my phone... and we were standing behind the guy.. the position he is in at the time of the picture is the position he stayed in for like 5 minutes before moving...

It looked really cool :)

I'm not sure, thats the first time I've seen him (but then I don't go to Queen St often). I've seen the guy with the hook hand a few times, doing the statue thing (Statue bro? lol).

You should be able to see him from the road, as he is just on the sidewalk. And it's hard to miss a big grey painted motorbike...

Man, I looked just like that on sunday arvo after blasting round woodhill all day on the CR . . . as did my car and trailer. Maybe I should have stopped on the side of the road on the way home and put down a hat . . .
