left the holiday house about 2 weeks ago and went back last weekend to find that the back wheel would not free up, the bike had been moved and lent on some thing so the clutch was pull 1/2 in. the bike was working fine when i left it but i did have a hard crash last time riding it. has any one had this happened to them or knows how hard it is to fix and cost? about time for a new bike any way.

Make sure its not in gear, make sure the rear brake pedal is not bent or otherwise jammed on. Maybe the wheel bearings have seized or collapsed due to lack of maintanence.:shifty:

the rear brake look fine and i did put it out of gear sounds like the wheel bearings are the problem norm the farm the bikes on got a new manger about a year ago and just found out he had not been geting it serviced with the other farm bikes  thanks for the help

A lot of beach riding, without a proper clean out and relube, will shag bearings real quick.:Punk:

Whip the chain off and try and spin the wheel, if it turns, then it's likely to be an engine/gearbox problem, if it doesn't it's likely to be brakes or bearing.
