Went for a good ride on the Weekend. There is some very good dirt and some prime tar twisty bits around the Border.
Some of the roads were the ones the BMW K1600 launch was on - and some sure weren't.
One of the biggest differences in this part to over there is it's much further to the bush.

Sure looks like a nice area, I have a few 4x4 dvds that were filmed around that area and I would love to go see it for myself someday.:niceone:

You've done more promotion for KLRs in a few months than Kawasaki have in years - they should be thanking you.

Cool, thanks for that Dave. It reminded me of rides out of Townsville. Who does the music?

No - but it should be!
Free Beer was a Sydney Band with a catchy name.
They'd read out the gig guide on Triple J:
....'Dragon' at Selinas...'Free Beer' at the Coogee Bay Hotel....

Ha - I can make a background loop - but there's only so much ordinary 12 bar the world can accomodate.
If you want it to be ad free - or get a slice of the ad revenue - you can't use popular music without permission/licence. Even then you have to jump through googlehoops*.
Van Halen would make it epic - The worse bit is that to properly licence a Disk of glorified Muzac costs heaps.
*I should submit that to Wordspy (http://www.wordspy.com)

The Coogee Bay Hotel, I went to a benefit concert for Marc Hunter there in 1998. What a night!
