Ducati Monster S4 mufflers?

My Monster S4 silencers / mufflers are dented (previous owner, not me) and I was wondering if swapping the mufflers over would cause any issues? So putting the left one on the right-side and right one on the left-side. This is so the dented side faces inwards and the 'good' side is outwards..

Anyone know of any problems that may arise from doing this?

Probably a stupid question, but I'm not very mechanically minded...
