Motorcycle Magazine Writer/Editor

Love motorbikes? Fancy riding them for a living, writing about them, attending events and being a part of NZ’s leading motorcycle media company? Well this could be the ideal role for you.
So what do you need? Well, you need to be able to ride a bike and ride it well, either road or dirt but preferably both. You need to have a good grasp of the English language, strong attention to detail, enjoy writing and be interested in all forms of motorcycling, as you’ll be required to supply copy for both our road and dirt bike magazine.
You need to be bursting with new ideas for features within the magazine and ways to increase the readership plus also have a complete knowledge of social media as you’ll be updating websites, Facebook and Twitter daily. Add to this the weekly television show and you’ll need to be comfortable with all forms of media. Being a small team, you will have to turn your hand to anything including taking photos and filming although training will be given if the right candidate needs it.
This is a great opportunity to get what has to be the best job in the world for any avid motorcyclist. The position is based about an hour south of Auckland, so you need to able to move or be within traveling distance.

Sounds like an interesting opportunity for some young up and comer that would provide some useful experience. It won't pay that well but that could be offset by some good first-hand learning.

Mind you, I would most likely need my full, so that's me out anyway.

Problem there is, you have to learn the 'art' of reviewing bikes and not saying they are complete shit, even if they were.. or you're killing the goose that lays the golden egg, (manufacturer review loaner bikes).. So nope not my type of job.

There are 25,447 members on KB. At least 25,446 of us probably would be perfect for the job.:no::no::no:??
